Student / Parent Information
Students who progress enjoy playing their violin more. Oleg works closely with parents to help their child practice. Beginning students should practice 15-30 minutes per day. Intermediate and advanced students will discuss their practice schedule with their teacher.
Lesson Length:
30 minute lessons are recommended for young players ages 4-6 years.
45 minute lessons are recommended for beginning students ages 7+ years.
60 minute lessons are recommended for intermediate and advanced level students.
Lesson Frequency:
One lesson per week is the minimum. Two lessons per week is deal, but your teacher recognizes that not all families can afford this. Just like sports where athletes train more than once each week, serious violin students should have more than one lesson/training each week.
Payments:
Payments are due at the beginning of each month in advance. Cash or Zelle payments are preferred. Checks should be made payable to: Oleg Timuta.
Missed Lessons:
In the event of any student absence, please notify your teacher in advance. Refunds are not available. Make-up lessons are sometimes available depending on your teacher’s calendar, but must be arranged within 30 days of the student’s absence. If a lesson or class is cancelled because of weather, or because of your teacher’s inability to be there, a make-up lesson will be arranged.
